The advanced course in GCP covers the areas of planning, implementation and reporting of modern research projects. It also provides a comprehensive overview of management and financing aspects. This course is aimed at investigators, project leaders, researchers or other study staff members for whom the course is mandatory in the area of active research.

Course description
You will learn the ethical and legal principles of human research, the responsibilities and duties of a Sponsor/Sponsor-​Investigator during planning, conducting and reporting of a research project. In particular, you will learn relevant aspects for Sponsors/Sponsor-​Investigators on research contracts, risk management, quality management, as well as on the required communication with authorities.

Target group
Investigators, project leaders, researchers or other study staff members who would like to learn more about how to take responsibility for the initiation, management, and/or financing of a human research project. For a Sponsor/Sponsor-​Investigator this course is mandatory.
