Beatrice Pertoldi

Béatrice Pertoldi has many years of experience in the field of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP, part of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)). After her degree as Pharmacist at the ETH Zurich she started her career in public pharmacies, this included sales and manufacturing of medicinal products in small quantities. Then she changed to clinical research organizations where she could hold various functions for over 15 years. As sen. Clinical Research Associate, Project Leader, SOP Manager and Head Quality Control she created study documents, made authority and ethic committee submissions, was responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS) and supervised studies with monitoring and quality controls. Later she worked in the GDP (GMP) area. In the function as Quality Manager and Responsible Person (Qualified Person) she was responsible for the quality of active pharmaceutical ingredients, medicinal products and narcotics as well as the maintenance of the establishment license for authorization holders in Switzerland.
